Jaipur - Ajmer Highway LPG Blast

A Massive explosion took place on the jaipur-Ajmer highway (NH-8) near Dudu, Rajsthan on 7 October 2025, when two LPG Gas Tankers collided head on. The impact was so powerful that both tankers caught fire instantly, leading to a series of loud explosions that were heard up to 15 kilometers away.

the collision resulted in continuous blast as LPG leaked from the tanks. Flames rose high info the sky, turning the highway into a sea of fire more than 10 fire brigade trucks reached the spot and and struggle for several hours to control the blaze.

> Eyewitnesses described the scene as terrifying, saying it felt like a battlefield filled with explosions.

Rescue and emergency response 

Immediately after the explosion, the highway was sealed from both side to prevent further accidents. the police and NDRF teams were deployed to handle the gas leak and control the situation. Traffic was diverted to alternate routes as a massive traffic jam stretched several kilometers.

Damage and casualties 

According to early reports:

2 driver were critically injured due to sever burns.

5 vehicles were completely destroyed.

Good worth lakhs of rupees were damaged.

The Rajasthan Government announced  compensation for the victims and has ordered a full investigation into the cause of the incident.

Goverment reaction

Rajasthan Chief Minister expressed concern over the tragic accident and said:

Safety protocols will be re-evaluated to ensure that such disasters never occur again.
